A video camcorder will do if you do not intend to hire a service to cover your wedding. When connecting to your computer, you need to see if the port of your computer fits to the camcorder. Some connector are in USB form and some are not. In such case, you must find the correct connector to connect the camcorder to your computer.
VIDEO DRIVERS
To make the computer read your files, certain installation must be done. If not, you cannot run the video and edit it. After the installation, you can now transfer the video and other information needed.
VIDEO EDITING SOFTWARE
You can edit it on your own if you think you are well versed when it comes to computer software. However, your video outputs may not be as wonderful as professionals do it. Most of them are equipped with software built for editing videos. If you want to have this edge then make sure you have software that allows you to add music, effects and texts to your home-made wedding videography.You just have to make sure that this software is workable with the type of format your videos have.
SAVE FILES
After editing, you may now save the files your computer. You may also save a copy in CDs and/or DVDs. This way, you will keep the memory fresh just by watching the videos.
